MSC strengthens its route network layout in South Africa

Mediterranean Shipping (MSC) recently announced an upgrade to its South African regional route network, further strengthening trade ties between Africa and Europe and global markets by optimizing the Northwest Europe to South Africa route and adding two new feeder services. This upgrade highlights MSC's commitment to providing customers with end-to-end logistics solutions.

Service Upgrade Highlights:

Northwest Europe to South Africa route (NWC to South Africa)

The addition of a direct port call at Navibia's Wolfis Bay expands direct connections between Northern Europe and Namibia

Adjusted call sequence: London Gateway Port - Rotterdam - Antwerp - Bremerhaven - Le Havre - Siniche - Las Palmas - Volvis Bay - Port Elizabeth - Durban - Cape Town - Las Palmas - London Gateway Port

Maiden Voyage Plan: MSC Rosaria (voyage NZ504A) will depart from London Gateway on January 20, 2025

Feeder service connecting Cape Town with Walvis Bay
