MSC announced it will launch a new Alpaca route in September 2025, providing customers with express freight services between the Far East and the west coast of South America. The speed of this route between Ningbo Port in China and Caiao Port in Peru will reach market *** levels, passing through Busan Port in South Korea.
This unique weekly independent route will call directly at multiple ports in Chile, while further enhancing MSC's connectivity between Arica and Iquique Port, Bolivia's key trade gateways.
This route is specially designed to meet the needs of Chile's cherry season and will operate as the "MSC Cherry Express," providing exporters to the Asian market with a fast, reliable transportation solution. Relying on MSC's intelligent refrigeration technology, this route will ensure continuous protection of the integrity, freshness, and visibility of refrigerated cargo throughout the entire transportation process.
The complete port call order for the route is:
Ningbo (China) - Busan (South Korea) - Cayao (Peru) - Arica (Chile) - Iquique (Chile) - San Antonio (Chile) - Nansha (China) - Hong Kong (China) - Ningbo (China)
